Run For Freedom

This is put on by the youth organization, student led, “Club America at Smith Center High School”. Our main goal in this is to unite the American people and to honor those who have fought for our freedom. And of course to celebrate 250 years of freedom. You can either run a 5K, or walk or run 1 mile. Little flags for kids will be provided as well as some big flags for the adults. But we ask that the adults bring their own if they have one. Starting time is 8 AM. One big circle prayer to start out as well as the Pledge of Allegiance. There will be a watermelon feed at the end, as well as two veterans as guest speakers.

On a side note, we just got the idea and started organizing this just a few days ago and are trying hard to get the word out to people in surrounding towns and would so greatly appreciate it if it could be announced on the radio. If there is any chance that could happen, us leaders would be extremely grateful, thank you.
