IDES Meal Packing Event

Once again, Salina Heights Christian Church is hosting a meal preparation event for
International Disaster Emergency Services. We are inviting as many people as possible to
participate as we plan to pack 20,000 meals this year. These meals are distributed by IDES,
worldwide, wherever there is a food crisis but they depend on volunteers to produce these
bagged meals using an assembly line process. It is a very fun, family centered event, bringing
all ages together, and obviously the more volunteers we have, the sooner we reach 20,000.
Volunteers need to RSVP to 785-823-7050 so we know how many assembly lines to set up.
