Christmas Vespers 2024

This year, we are bringing back the Christmas Vespers Community Chorus. Over the past several weeks, community members have been able to sign up to take part in this group to perform three Christmas songs during the event: “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Silent Night,” and “Joy to the World.” The Vespers Chorus has over 70 people involved, will be led by Renata Knox and accompanied by Marcie Mallette.

Christmas Vespers will also feature many local church music ensembles, including Fellowship Christian Church, Zion Lutheran Church, the Wesleyan Church, the First United Methodist Church, CrossPoint Church, 4J Cowboy Church, and others. In addition, musical groups from Cloud County Community College and Concordia High School will be participating.

This concert will provide a unique audience experience as groups will be performing all around the Theatre, not only on the stage, but from balconies and box seats as well. Scripture readings will be read by members from the Concordia Ministerial Association and a brief sermon will be presented by David Redmond from the Concordia Wesleyan Church. In lieu of tickets, donations are welcome at the door and will directly support the efforts of the Concordia Ministerial Association and the Brown Grand Opera House.
